Turnabout...Fair Play... blahblahblah

If Husbandguy went away for a weekend and came back to find that I hadn't done anything around the house while he was gone (like throw away the brown lettuce that he took out of the fridge on Thursday), I would have been subjected to all kinds of snippy comments (like, "You couldn't even throw away the lettuce?" and more). When Pete and I got home yesterday, I was tempted to follow his example. But I didn't. Not because I'm a better person than he is, or smarter, but simply because I hate it when he does it. I did, however, point out to him that I wasn't doing that so apparently I'm not quite as cool as I'd like to be...

THAT is why I work outside of the home. So I can expect equal help around the house. We learned this all the hard way.

Glad you guys made it back okay. Hope you had a good time and that Pete learned something about family.

I've noticed that I'm more tolerant than my hub in this regard, too...
