April is National Poetry Month so, in honor of that, several other writers and I are posting a poem-a-day for the whole month. If you decide to post a poem too, let me know and I'll post a link so we can all read it.

The title of this poem is a gift to me! I was trying so hard to find the word "cacophony" this morning but it could not be sorted out in the jumble of my mind...
"But they're girls,
Not boys..."
Now that is my favorite line in this piece although I never had a daughter myself I can seen the "Cacophony" plain as day. ;D
That's funny, Marty, because that word has been stuck in my head for days, and I've been trying to get rid of it!
Sounds like you're visiting my house right now! You captured the noisy happiness of a household of fun loving, LOUDLY happy kids:)
Thank you, septembermom. Sometimes I have to check to be sure we didn't pick up an extra kid (or 3) somewhere because they make a lot of "noisy happiness" for just 2 little kids.
Catching up on th week. . . this one is very appropriate! I like the same line as Marty. <3
