Lager is suppos...Ale is supposed to taste like ale. Lager is supposed to taste like lager. Stout is supposed to taste like stout. And so on. And it actually tastes better when it's not ice cold. Although, the vineyard manager, who agrees beer is best at about room temperature, told me there are times when he's been out in the hot California sun all day that the beer can never be too cold.

And while we're talking about flavor, what is it with all this flavored green tea? Green tea is supposed to taste like green tea.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8334253198605447602.post-33621657681784268682008-08-24T17:25:00.000-04:002008-08-24T17:25:00.000-04:00I don't like anything that tastes like "real beer"...I don't like anything that tastes like "real beer" either. But I do like Belgian Whites and Heffenwizens--they are usually described as "creamy"--meaning unfiltered wheat beers. Blue Moon is a common belgian white. I saw a recipe today (looking for sangria recipes) that suggested mixing a beer with a gingerale and adding sliced limes--with the right beer, that sounds more like my style. 'Cause like you, even if I like it, the end of mine tends to get warm. Yuck. It's a blueberry beer, you might find it too sweet, but I think it is De-Lish-Us. Also, you used to like Dos Equis! What happened? And Heiniken is all right, too.Princess Sparkle Pantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06034772999725516942noreply@blogger.com
